I bought a couch

I stopped in to thrift store the other day, and found the most comfortable couch ever. It is in perfect shape, and is solid. The name brand is Bassett, which I am sure means "over priced." Not for me. I got the couch for $100 and the matching chair and ottoman for $50. Twenty dollars off the marked price, just because I asked. It really is that simple, folks.

I am not going to say that it is ugly, because the second that I do someone will say "Oh, I have that same couch and I love it!" so I will just say that I will be covering it soon.

It is one of those pillow backs but the pillows are attached styles and has bun feet. I may try to recover it myself, using this tutorial. Considering the fact that I have zero sewing skills, it will be an adventure, that's for sure.

I donated the worlds most uncomfortable couch and chair to the same thrift store. While we were carrying it in, two older ladies said "Oh, so pretty! That sure would look nice on your porch." Their mesmerizing deeeeeep southern accents almost made me believe it. Today we saw that they had marked the set for $70. I hope they get it.
